Signature by the Hill @ The Roof, Petaling Jaya

The Roof is a premium integrated F&B and entertainment hub located at First Avenue, Bandar Utama- just next to One Utama shopping mall which houses 6 different outlets catering to a broad spectrum of customers. These outlets are: Stratosphere, Play, Score, The Malt & Leaf, YEZI (the latest addition) and Signature by the Hill.

Since it is our 2nd anniversary together, the husband and I decided to celebrate at Signature by the Hill, after reading so many great reviews on the place. And it did not disappoint.

We made reservation for a table at 7pm so that we can enjoy both the sunset view and also the night view. We were the first to arrive and we were assigned to a table by the window as requested in our booking made online... So, I was really satisfied that it was arranged for us as it was mentioned on the website that window seats requires RM250 minimum spend per table (applicable to Fri and Sat), so it must mean window seats are the best seats in the house. I like the view from the windows which oversees the city. You can even go out from the restaurant to the small balcony at the side and enjoy the outdoor open air.

I ordered for myself a Louisiana buttermilk deep fried chicken while the husband ordered the Signature grilled salmon pasta. My chicken was very crispy and even my husband stole a few bites from my plate.. I like the pumpkin mash but it was already a little cold when it was served to me. His pasta turned out good too. We did not order the specialty cocktails even though the presentation looks so cute and special as we both are not alcoholic lovers (we would pick a neslo ice over any alcoholic beverages anyday! Haha) and of course the husband needs to drive. We decided to order a dessert to share- we picked the Trio Crème Brulee but instead we were in for a surprise... stay tune for the story!

At the end of our meal, the waiter who has been serving our table brought over our dessert. It was not the one we had ordered but we were served a lovely chocolate brownie cake on the house (worth rm20-ish) as they knew we were celebrating our anniversary~~ It totally made our day... And the dear thoughtful waiter passed under the table to my husband a rose! For him to surprise me... It was really sweet and we both agreed this is probably the most memorable anniversary we had, just because a stranger helped to make it all the more memorable for the both of us and it made us smile just thinking back about it. Thank you to the sweet waiter and thank you to Signature by the Hill for our lovely anniversary dinner~~

We even got a 15%discount by using CIMB credit card to pay for the dinner. Such luck! Totally worth it.. The husband even gave the waiter a generous tip for his efforts. Cheapest anniversary dinner to date according to him, with a 5-star quality service and ambience... :) We will definitely visit again!
