Changdeokgung Palace

Directions: 
  • Subway: Anguk Station (Seoul Subway Line 3), Exit 3. Go straight from the exit (east) for about 300 m.
  • Bus: Take bus to Changdeokgung Palace and Huwon: 7025, 109 , 151, 162, 171, 172, 272, 601. Get off from Changdeokgung Palaces bus stop.

Operating hours: 0900-1830 (closed on Mondays) 



Entrance ticket: 3000 won/person ~ RM10

※ Adults (ages 19-64): Regular 3,000 won / Huwon (Secret Garden) 5,000 won
※ Children and Teenagers (ages 18 and under): Regular 1,500 won / Huwon 2,500 won
※ Group (over 10): 20% discount offered for regular tickets only.

## If you plan to visit all of the palaces, it is more economical to buy the Integrated Admission pass:
- Admission to the Four Palaces (Changdeokgung Palaces (including Huwon, Secret Garden), Changgyeonggung Palace, Deoksugung Palace, Gyeongbokgung Palace) and Jongmyo Shrine. 
- Ticket price: 10,000 won per person (Valid for 1 month after date of purchase) 

- Refunds are not available after the ticket has been used at the first site. 

You can even join the tour if you are interested to know more about the history of the palace- which is free by the way.

We did not join the tour nor did we pay extra 5000 won to go into the Secret Garden as time did not permit us to do so.
In my personal opinion, the royal palace in China is much more beautiful and impressive but overall this was a decent experience. My suggestion to you is to pick the palace that you want to visit the most and just go to one instead of all 4.
